23-year-old Michaela Johansson, the full time poker player already, is reported to have joined the Betfair poker team. Now, on her travels she will be representing Betfair. This news has been well received in the industry.

With the long term benefits of sponsoring up and coming poker players and the knowledge that the player’s profile will grow as the team members progress, the decision could not be different. Though, there is always risk of signing up new, up and coming stars of poker.

Betfair is already associated with Annette Obrestad, the past WSOP main event winner. So, Michaela Johansson turned out to be in a very good company.
