I am 60 Years Old and I live in Greenwood, Indiana with my Loving Husband, Mike. I am a Renowned Poet and was Inducted into The International Poetry Hall of Fame in 1992, I'm a Singer/Songwriter and have written over 100 Poems and Several Songs, Vice President of M & S Public Relations(Talent Promoter), Chairperson of my Two Non Profit Organizations, "Save Our Children" at: http://saveourchildren2006.tripod.com and "Shirley's Epilepsy Awareness Program" at: http://shirleysepilepsyawarenessprogram.tripod.com. I have recently been Honored with the Title of, "Poetry Ambassador of 2007 and 2008!" from The National Library of Poetry and I am Officially Listed in the Poet Ambassadors Directory with several other Renowned Poets!
I am Disabled with Two Steel Rods in my Spine, Degeneration of my Spine, Osteoarthritis, Suffered with Epilepsy since I was 14 Years Old, Anxiety and a few other problems, but, I do not let these things keep me from achieving my Goals in Life. I am Singing as a Career right now and Performing with my Band that I am busy trying to put together. My Band's Name is,"Shirley Caron and Her Bound For Glory Band!"
