Just happened to stumble into this one by accident. I was waiting for the bus to get back home to Graton, and saw a bunch of people walking by in various forms of costume (most with some sort of Christmas theme), and asked them what was happening. They told me there was a tree lighting ceremony in the town square where they usually hold a farmer's market.

Starting my morning at the coffee shop, I take the "scenic" route into the town of Cotati (Sonoma County, California), near the "headwaters" of Laguna de Santa Rosa watershed (which drains into the Russian River).
