About me

Diagnostic radiologists -touched by technology-

After my residence trainging in radiology and few years of clinical practice, for several years I was engaged breaking the ice on digital imaging modalities in Spain. I did research and development in radiology information systems, computed tomography, PACS, teleradiology, teleworking and interfacing of all those emerging technologies among them. I still have been doing radiology (pediatrics) and ultrasound and strange mix: the best of both worlds.

I used to be a guinea-pig advanced user in many European Commission reserach projects during the development phase of international broadband networks (satellite, DQDB, ATM, ADSL).

My motto: If it is useful, simple and inexpensive: why not ?

Now, when most of my colleages think that these technologies are mainstream and cheap I'm almost 'retired' from technology. You may dare to think that I'm only smiling.

My work

Mixing diagnostic imaging with technology and radiation protection. With warm care. And with some question marks ...
