Wishes

Wishes
Invoke the the orb
to shine upon me new
and never let it say goodnight

let me not strain
for all that I desire
let peace come to me

willingly in the dead of night

celestiele beam
that orbits my heart
dispelling the darkness

captivated by pure light
in awe and wonder
I stare and gaze

and hold you in my palm
but all is illusion
and small am I

beneath your rays

as if passing time
languidly, you stare
back and look out for me

is it too much to ask,
to desire and wish
for the moon?

counter clockwise you
encircle my heart

and you affect the rise
and fall of all my emotions
as easily as you control

the tides of the very
depths and breath
of the oceans

and who can but nought
stand still beneath
your haunting gaze?

for you are my protector
in the darkest part of my day

and if I could but steal the kiss
that would make all wishes
come true

then I would climb the
tallest tree and reach
into the heavenly realms

and seal the promise of deed

Oh my! If you of all people hit the wall, I don't stand a chance. No, you can't lose that marvelous ability to create. It was born in you.

thank you wild I appreciate you taking the time to read it...

and yes a crisis or a multitude of such that I have endured the past 2 years is definitely and surely to do that...but crisis can also give one a new insight into better humor....

peace in crisis times is attainable for those who know the Lord

Maree, just know that you have friends here that feel your soul as a true friend. If we can help with the crisis in anyway even a prayer helps...we are here for you.

that would be awesome valius as beleive it or not we are still dealing in the courts with a previous tenant who lied and did the wrong thing and we are left paying for it...literally....I have a barrister now handling the case who I am quietly confident has it all in hand...however our court system not perfect and we have all ready been wronged twice by the court systems etc...on this very issue...it has been very stressful with stalking and the like....and have notified police who have records on incidents etc...but everyone seems powerless to stop them..

so I focus on God he changeth not....I teach scripture and run outreach workshops which helps me focus...and recently inherited a job from an elderly friend.... so God is gracious....whilst I may have a little confidence in my barrister I have much more confidence in our God is most indeed sovereign... so thank you...

Marie A big AMEN* We need to remember also that there are 2 kinds of reward~Some receive their reward in heaven and the other's on earth~Look foward to yours in heaven and meanwhile; even though I really don't know you outside of reading your poems and comment's here, my prayer's are with you also* God Bless, Lyn

Hey Guys...I am happy today, for no reason except I can be. I want to say this without making the mistake I did once. Lyn, Maree is with us over at that other place...and reading what you wrote has inspired me to go over and get a small group together to pray for all to be well. Maree, we got you so relax!

thank you Lyn such an ecnouragment and its always happily chaotic around here - take for example a day of chores after arriving home from work at 7 am...and preparing for two school concerts and organising the craft ladies...all counted for joy

AWESOME valius - mistake? now I'm intrigued...pray is so important...I have many chrsitians whom I have not met except save online and we often fervently pray for each other as the need arises...

Maree and Lyn...There is a writing that I have done in General » News Around the World at whitestones. When you get a chance I would be honored if you will take the time to read it even though it is long. It is from my soul.

Maree it's my pleasure* As for humor via chaos; I can identify with that, I can even now think of some pretty funny incidences through all my illness, surgeries, and even my stroke which left me paralyzed for a year *Actually many during that course* My kids and I still speak of and laugh about quite a bit especially during paralyzation which earned me a few nicknames ~Spaz being one~ 'Spazzing Tazz  I also found the time for much joy way back when I worked 12 hours a day; pregnant and school function's and much more, of course that included house duties and more and I must say I actually miss it all* And I am sure in time I will find humor in what I have been going through this past year; especially the past few month's, except for 1 thing but the Lord fill's that 1 extra special. He is my rock, fortress, comfort, and salvation through all thing's  Many blessing's to you, Lyn

My dearest Val, I am finally pretty much back in full and am so excited to be; it has been rough not having my few dearest friend's to communicate with, *especially you* Who would have ever guessed that it would be possible to have closer more loving and supporting friend's that you have never even layed eyes on in person!?! ~ Of course I have always had the Lord; my rock, fortress, comforter, confidant, strength, teacher, best friend, and my interssesor to our almighty loving and merciful Father God. Speaking of I am so elated to hear your surgerie's went well; it's going to help when I begin my message to you; I am giving you notice to prepare  and please forgive my lack of communication of late, but I know you understand* You are and have been my rock, confidant, and my  on earth; you mean more to me than I could ever sum up in word's, and you have always been there for me like no other in my life. You are certainly one of God's elect here on earth; a chosen one ~And DO NOT argue with me on that point~ I am sure other's would back that up and I know the Lord does* I will absolutely go to read what you have written, I am very anxious to* I am also very happy to hear you have started a prayer circle; as Maree stated prayer is important, mass prayer even better, and it need not be in person!! The Lord is true and faithful to hear all our prayer's; silent, audible, and written!!! So get ready because I am almost ready to begin my message to you; I have spent the past few days answering all my 'news' first, because I know my message to you will take as long ~OH MY~ Lyn

It's so great to read between the lines and see that you are in good spirits. You know me, time is something that is just to mark past events. Waiting patiently is well worth it to know you are well.

Now I'll just be patient for my message that is coming...:sherlock:
