WHO & UNICEF warn Vietnam for melamine contained Chinese milk

"Deliberate contamination of foods, especially those intended for consumption by vulnerable infants and young children, is particularly deplorable", it's stated in a joint communiqué by the 2 UN organisations.
According to Dr. Jean Marc Olive, WHO representative for Vietnam, there is no report from Vietnamese authority regarding any case of mortal from usage of melamine contained milk.
Dr. Olive also insists that melamine contained milk does not seriously effect to adult's health as an infrequent usage. But, it seriously damage infant health under 2 year of age.
Vietnamese consumers worry about Chinese milk and milk trace products since several serious cases of kidney problem among Chinese children. Vietnamese Food Administration and Health authority are pushed up in investigation for milk traces products imported from China.
According to Tuoi Tre Newspaper, there are 375 ton of full cream powder milk from Longcom Company and another 42 tons from Weihai Jinbao Dairying are imported to Vietnam.
The newspaper also states that famous confectionary brands like M&M chocolate; Snickers and Dove chocolate are taken over from supermarkets for investigation as those products branded with "Made in China"./.
