2.1. Enterprises selling gasoline at 19% benefit. Base price per liter of gasoline is VND 13,446, while retails price is VND 16,500. Shoemakers face growing threat of bankruptcy: Some 40,000 workers have lost their jobs since anti-dumping duties were imposed on Vietnamese leather-capped shoes by the European Commission (EC) in 2006. According to the Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association (Lefaso) report, bankruptcy has threatened 100 of the 400 leather and leather shoe manufacturers in Vietnam since the EC imposed the anti-dumping duty from July 2006 to October 2008.
4.2. RHB Bank Berhard from Malaysia opens Rep office in HCMC. The office is valid for 5 years operation in Vietnam, it will follow contracts between RHB & other credit institutions of Vietnam. Prior to RHB, the central bank also allow a rep office of Viet-Nga bank to open in Moscow./.
