Preah Vihear temple heated with fire exchange at 14:15 on Oct 15

The World heritage Preah Vihear temple recorgnised by UNESCO was heated over by gun fire this afternoon of Oct 15 at 14:15. According the most updated information, there are 3 death and other 3 injured in Cambodian side. Thai soldiers tolled 1 injury with serious burn.
Both sides, Thailand and Cambodia claimed that they were not the one who had started the fire. "We remain on alert and have readied our forces adequately to protect our territory," said Cambodia's Deputy Defense Minister Gen. Neang Phat, declining to say how many Cambodian troops had been deployed in the area.
Some source says Cambodian deploys 1,000 armed men, while Thai mobilized 500 soldiers. Fire exchange was claimed in at least 3 points: Keo Sikha Kiri Svada Pagoda; Veal Intry and Phnom Trap, which are within miles from Preah Vihear temple.
As of late Tuesday, troops on both sides of the border were only about 300 meters apart, said Gen. Mr. Viboonsak Neepan, the Thai Army commander for the region. We have sent more troops to be stationed near the area but only enough to resist. We will not attack first," Viboonsak confirmed.
Thailand's foreign minister stated today he was prepared to evacuate Thai citizens in Cambodia if warranted, in light of renewed fighting on their disputed common border.
"We have prepared an evacuation plan but we have to see how serious the situation is before the plan is executed," Thai Foreign Minister Sompong Amornviwat told media.
One witness in Phnom Penh described the city atmosphere: "Thai businesses in Phnom Penh is still calm and opens as normal. I do think that the conflict, this time, is not as serious as it was in 2003, when there is some strike and burning of Thai facilities in some commercial center".
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Kingdom of Cambodia confirms 06 border gates on land routes between Cambodia and Thai territories still open.
Currently, Cambodia still hold 10 Thai captures. Regional Army Commanders of both sides had finished their initial talk late this afternoon. Further negotiation between two sides starts tomorrow morning Oct 16, expected in higher rank level./.
