Now Guys, you must admit that is funny. I took this picture at our local zoo where I am adopting my Penguin and naming him (drum roll please) Jake.

Not yet, but I will find out soon. I just got a note from the zoo saying the information will be on its way to me. I will have his picture. They are so cute, aren't they. We have a terrific zoo. With lots of penguins.

i enjoy zoos, but, the ones around here really need to get cleaned up...the last time i was at one of the zoos here in michigan, i bout :faint:ed from the smell of it

We have one of the best zoos. The Childrens' Zoo is rated among the best in the United States. I live in Maryland and the policy of our zoo is to have the animals live in their natural habitats as much as possible. It is so much fun to visit the zoo. Most, if not all, the animals are roaming around just as if you would see them like in Africa or someplace like that. The Children's Zoo is great. They even have a bat cave for them and the children can go and see the seals swim underwater. If anyone has a chance to visit Baltimore, I would highly recommend our Zoo and our Acquarium, our Science Center is also great.
