An early example of a Penguin chocolate biscuit from the 1950s. These were one of the first snacks advertised by their own name rather than their makers, McVities.
Now this is more like it. Penguin chukkas were little pieces of chocolate, toffee and biscuit in a small tube. The idea was to chuck it back like a tequila slammer.
You can't find these for love nor money in the UK now. They were badly marketed and hardly distributed at all. Shame, I loved them.
