The remains of two new species of ancient warm weather Peruvian penguins have been discovered: Perudyptes devriesi (lower left) and Icadyptes salasi (lower-right). The tiny penguin in the picture is the only penguin species currently residing in Peru: Spheniscus humbolti. The largest penguin pictured stood around five feet tall and had a seven inch beak!
