This clip is pretty cool - Top Gear is a UK motoring show, and most weeks the presenters do something crazy. This was particularly special! They took a Reliant Robin to a small rocket making outfit in Manchester - and built and 'Space Shuttle'. Who wouldn't love to knock up something like this?!

Someone care to explain why it failed and what they intended to do with it if it succeeded?

It failed because the car didn't seperate from the rocket as planned. If it had succeeded? They'd have run around screaming and hugging for a few minutes, then gone home. It was just a very extravagant firework. Fun though!

Thanks for sharing that gary! I hate cars, but I LOVE TG!!! It's quite popular over here in Australia, even though it's on non-commercial television. I heard that the new series will be on soon YAY!

I really liked the episode where they took the Ford Transit to Germany and raced it around the circuit, and the women driving it managed to over take Porches in it! hihihihi
