Fisk i penis... mnja

http://www.nettavisen.no/verden/article2224108.ece

"- Han holdt fisken i hånden sin mens han rengjorde akvariet i hjemmet sitt, men gikk så på do for å tisse. Mens han urinerte gled fisken ut av hånden hans og inn i hans urinrør."

Regner og med han har en hund som spiser leksene hans fra tid til annen...

We will need more people to debug shitty IE behaviour. We already have top notch people working in these departments, but they want more friends :-)

Read it and cry

So... To my masses of readers.. both of you.. What do you think about this?

The plot thickens

Alternative revenue streams

Basically we found a way to make extra $$. Remove something that will make a group of users scream out loud then offer the poor guys working in frontline some money to put it back so they wont be slapped by the users for too long. So Håvard offered us some cash to put back the viewbar (disabled by default, but available in the appearance dialog) and also to offer the old keyboard shortcuts in the keyboard setup dialog.

We will make changes later on that people won't like. Especially when we are broke and need more money from Håvard :-p

My top 5 wishes

So it seems Alastorhttp://www.avencius.nl/?q=node/597Alastor tagged me and I have to make a post about my top 5 feature wishes for opera.
I must admit this is not easy for me as I never have the "user mind" when I use Opera.. I always look for bugs. That might reflect my choices a bit :-)

1.Automatic crash reporting
2.Developer tools
3.Auto update and auto install of plugins ondemand
4.Updated GUI
5.Improved import/export of settings

So my turn to tag folks:

Silverlight in 9.22

Silverlight now works (thought maybe not perfect yet) in the weeklies we have released of 9.22
As alot of users keep stumbling over the examples that gives you a nice button saying you need to get the beta of the plugin I uploaded a example:

http://people.opera.com/olli/silverlight.htm

Extended validation

Many of you are eager to get some more info on Kestrel.
We are planning to share more about what we are doing, but in the meanwhile Yngve shows of EV in Kestrel here:

Safari blazingly fast?

, , , ...

First I want to congratulate Apple and their 1 class marketing wizard guru Steve Jobs that could probably sell sand to people living in inner Tchad on the Beta release of Safari on windows
First they claim they are the first to make a fullfledged browser on a phone. Well ya'll know thats far from true..
But he says so so it must be true..
Then they release Safari on Windows.. Something I think is good.. Safari is very good at standards and very cooperative when it comes to OTW :-)

Now regarding speed, Jobs presented a quick Ibench test and everyone was just wooow... They are soo fast..
And yes.. They are really fast in web content presenting the past according to the Benchmark..
Maybe about time Web 2.0 enters apple's HQ?
Web pages are no longer just tables+images and some text. Now you got heavy interaction with tons of "Ajax"

Enough rant about skewed reality: Ibench+Safari+numbers=inaccurate..
Wanna know why? Read on here:
