Wow. We have 200 members! Good to see so much interest in the Language Exchange
The more people that access the forums, the more chance that we'll be more successful in learning our languages.
Also, as per Munus's/Trauerwald suggestions, all you Swedish, Norwegian and Danish learners, now
have your own forum too
I am told by Munus that these three languages are very similar and people from their respective countries can communicate easily. Fascinating stuff.
I am a bit tired, so give me a little while before pointing out any spelling mistakes

Seems we have been very quiet around here over the last month or so, although it's picked up a bit recently and we have a few new members, which is great news! Nothing much has changed, but don't forget to let us know if you are interested in learning a language which is not already posted. We're open to everyone!
Has anyone heard from our founder Ghost/Origamiboy at all? He seems to have disapeared.

Charlie's suggestion, I have added photo albums for each group. Now I think it will be okay but we'll have to see about that when there are more people active here.

Well, we're growing slowly. We now have a few faces around here
and a couple of new channels.
First is the new
Chinese channel!. Your main moderator will be
Hippoland (Don't worry I will get her to double check any Chinese titles I make in the forums, hehe). And our other new Mod. is
Charlie, she's an English speaker learning Japanese but is willing to help others learn English, which is awesome.
We have also opened up a
French Channel as there was a little bit of interest from Hippoland and Charlie. So anyway, I have to run now, but I will see you all again!

Welcome to the grand opening of The Language Exchange!
Right now, it's under some heavy tweaking to make everything work well, so there may be a lot of changes coming this way. I am not sure completely how to run a group here on Opera so help is appriciate, and of course translations and friends are need to breath life into our new little sandbox
I hope you'll support us here at the LX with your presence and enthusiasm, which is why I love the opera community so much!
