photo printing!

I have finally made a start on getting my favourite photos printed. Something I have been meaning to do for quite some time. I have had my digital camera for about a year and a half now, and I never seem to get round to printing out any pictures! They just stay in my computer, where I check on them nervously from time to time to make sure that they haven't been accidentally deleted or wiped out (which has happened several times! I usually have them saved onto disc too though, if I remember)
I have been working through them all carefully and methodically (there are LOTS!), putting all my favourite ones aside to be copied onto my memory chip-stick thing, and taking them to the photography shop bit by bit, to be printed out on their strange machines.
Call me old fashioned, but I feel much happier when they are on actual paper, and not just floating around in untrustworthy computer memory. I can relax knowing that my favourites are safe, and that they are tucked away in my little albums, waiting to be picked up and flicked through whenever I want. I find that I look at photos a lot more when they are in albums, than when I have to look at them on a computer, or rummage through a box of higgilty piggilty photos.
There's something quite therapeutic and satisfying too, in sitting down with a big pile of your favourite photos, and putting them into order in a nice new photo album

You should definitely think about getting your favourite pics printed, it doesn't cost that much! less than 10p a picture usually! One day you will be glad that you did (the day afterwards for example!
I am still trawling through all my pics, choosing which ones to print!
Having to do it in batches!
