It's hard to believe, but I live on this world for 25 years already. Pretty long. Along with a lot of cool stuff I also received this picture today. I think it's very funny, so I decided to publish it on my blog. I got it from Janosch, a friend in Germany (
here is the link to his profile on StudiVZ). For the Oslo crowd: I am looking forward to the birthday gathering at my place this evening. Many hugs from "an old man"

How funny is that. Today Opera launched the new Campus Crew program to support students who want to bring Opera and Web standards to their campus.
Zara planned this programm and chose a picture which was taken quite some time ago during summer in Oslo. On the picture you can find
Putri,
Jennifer and myself.
Find the link to the program
here. I have been a little bit busy with browser wars and some AIESEC stuff recently, but be sure that I will publish some more pictures of my holiday trip to Lofoten and my life in Oslo very soon.

Since I finished my second master thesis in Oslo, I sent it to my university in Germany by email. Andreas (a friend of mine) printed it and handed it in to the examination office. At the moment I am still waiting for the results from my prof. So far I have never seen the final version, but now I received a picture of it. It's cool to know that I could finish something like this again.

Furthermore I became a fan of Gabriele. He is an Italien guy, who actually joined my roadtrip from Germany to Norway. He posted a very inspiring
video. Very funny!

Hi guys,
many things happend again in past weeks. But I have limited time to write about it. So just some quick updates and new pictures: already three weeks ago Kati from Germany visited me and we did some tourist stuff as well as partying. Last weekend I went to an other cabin with Audrey (France), May (Norway), Daniel (Spain) and Alexandru (Romania). Yesterday I bought a second-hand bicycle. Furthermore I checked a new room for me, because I have to move out of my current accommodation. Besides this we are still able to enjoy the sun, going to Oslo harbour and so on. At Opera all members of our team got more responsibility and I am working on some PR intitatives and plan some online community activities.
The following 2 pictures are particularly for my former collegues at Hella KGaA - Taken on an island just next to sunny Oslo.

And this is a cool pic of my Team again, we took it yesterday.

Jippi! Norway was so great during the last 1,5 weeks. The sun was shining all the time. And what does the average Norwegian do when it is 12°C? Yes, he wears T-shirts and sandals and turns on the air conditioning in the busses!!!! Anyway some Opera collegues, AIESEC students and friends decided to do a cabin trip the last weekend. It was just awesome and even a bit adventures. We hiked to a cabin in the forrest for about 6 hours. There we didn't have electricity or tap water. So we used candles and melted snow. We even had to start a fire to make it warm. On sunday we came back already. For more details please check Steve's Youtubevideo:

An other very intersting week just passed by. My collegues and I finished some work for the PR department and had to present our results today. We all got a very positive feedback, yeah! I haven't done so many presentation in English yet. So I was very luckey that it was my turn to give a country presentation at the weekly AIESEC meeting. It was a gread opportunity to train my presentation skills a bit in advanced. Furthermore we all enjoyed the presentation about Germany very much. Last but not least I received some complaints, because I did not add any party pictures to my blog. Well, as you can see, I still like balloon partys (-; It was actually Hege's birthday party.
The Opera building looks better in sunny weather.

Recently a lot of cool stuff happend in Oslo. As I am doing my internship with AIESEC, I am involved in some activities and receive a lot of support from local students (for AIESEC check:
http://www.aiesec.org/norway/). Last weekend we had a national conference in Oslo with AIESEC students from diffrent local committees in Norway and some more AIESEC trainees from other companies. At this conference we participated some very interesting and motivating sessions as well as some parties. The atmosphere was very open and friendly. Exchange with the other delegates was a lot of fun and a good opportunity to meet new people.

Today Opera released a new beta version of Opera Mini, the cool browser for your mobile phone. I could contribute to this. Please check this clip to see some of my collegues explaining new features
